This is pretty much as close to a uniform I will ever get. I am a huge fan of long skirts (what else is new) and any sort of little crop top. So this ends up being my outfit 9 times out of 10 haha! This black skirt is my favourite right now, and I cannot get enough of how sheer it is! I don’t think you can really see it in the photos too well but it is super sheer in person. I find it makes an otherwise conservative skirt a little sassier. 

My crop top is from H&M, and I literally paid $5 for it!! Sales are the BEST. It was actually a really loose top, but I decided I liked it better tied up like this. I was feeling bad, you know how it is ;).

Outfits like this are what I wear when I am feeling lazy and want to be comfortable, yet still look glam.  There is something just so beautiful about a long skirt… It may or may not be that they make me feel like a princess. OKAY FINE. That’s totally why. Girl can dream though, no?

I think I just might be the last person on the planet to have discovered Etsy. How have I been lurking the internet all this time and never stumbled across this gem of a website?! Honestly, who knows. Etsy is a site that sells all handmade products, and people can make their own little “shops!”

I wanted to share with you guys what I ordered from the cutest little shop called Primlark! I found the necklace I am wearing in the photo above, and couldn’t not have it!! Seriously so freaking beautiful! I love how delicate the jewelry is; it makes it feel so luxurious.

I also got this super simple bracelet that totally fits my style. If you haven’t noticed, I liked to keep it pretty simple with my jewelry most of the time. So when I saw this beautiful little piece, I knew we were meant to be together. For ever and ever and ever <3 I am talking about jewelry here… is this weird? Do I care?

Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope you guys are all having a great week so far. I am just loving furry vests these days, and I picked this one up the other week from Club Monaco. IT’S SO FLUFFY!!! Haha seriously though. So. Fluffy. If I am being totally honest here I have no idea where my dress is from. Why? Because I temporarily stole it from my friend Elisha. Not going to lie I was the most sad to give it back. Kind of like a kid who took some candy that they probably shouldn’t have taken, but just went ahead and did it anyways. Except I am a big kid so I was responsible and got her permission. 🙂 hehe

My shoes, well, I do know where those are from! They are the pair that I can’t get enough of right now, and they are made by the wonderful Michael Kors.

Let’s start off by talking about why I love ponchos so much. Think about it… they are basically a socially acceptable version of a blanket that you can wear all day long. I mean come on!! I can wear a blanket and not be publicly shamed? That sounds like a pretty sweet deal if you ask me. Needless to say, ponchos for the win.

I got this grey and camel beauty from Lord & Taylor. If you want to see another one of my fave ponchos, check out this post. My gorg speckled sweater that I am wearing underneath is from Oak + Fort. Totally love their look, I find that it fits great with my style. These two pieces together made such a cozy outfit!

Now, here’s a tip for you. If you want to make your legs look longer, try pairing tall black boots with black jeans. It totally elongates the look of your legs and makes those babies look like they go on foreverrrr. Kind of like I do when I start blabbing on about something….. 😛 Kidding!! Kind of…

Hello! So I am still in vacation-mode right now up in Whistler, Canada. It is snowing hard here and looks like a beautiful winter wonderland, I am going to try and go out to take some photos soon for you to share the winter love. I also wanted to share these photos with you that I shot a few days ago in Vancouver. In typical Vancouver fashion, it was raining like crazy the whole time! We managed to find a dry spot to snap a few pics though. 🙂

This is another Free People dress, I seem to be really into their brand lately haha! I love the black and gold look of this, it is so perfect to wear to holiday parties… even maybe on New Years eve! The best part about this dress? How loose and flowy it is. Seriously though. The other night I made the fatal mistake of wearing a tight dress to a holiday party and regretted it all night long. Why? Food. Food = the most amount of discomfort possible in a tight dress. Anyways, I was sad about my clothing choice all night long like a grumpy little toddler or something haha. This dress, would have been a much smarter decision! Which is why it will most likely be making another appearance at some holiday dinners over the next few days.

On the other hand, these shoes? Allllllways a good life choice. They are my Jimmy Choos (aka my pride, joy, and loves of my life 😉 .) Seriously the most comfortable shoes, and they look freaking bomb. I really should wear these more often but it kind of feels like a crime to wear them in the rain. I felt pretty guilty even after just taking photos in the rain of them! “I’m sorry my sweet sweet babies, I will do better I swear” <3 (All totally normal behavior…. 😛 )

Hi everyone! So I took these photos when I was up in Whistler this weekend. The original plan was to shoot this dress out on the end of a dock on this gorgeous frozen lake. Because that’s a normal thing to want… right? I had a vision, JEEZE. So anyways, we get out there and its about -100 degrees Celsius and I am slipping and sliding all over the place in my heels on this stupid frozen dock. I think I slightly resembled a drowning squirrel, at least that’s how I felt lol. This would be the point when I promptly declared that I hated Canada and had no idea why I live in such a cold place. Weird, because I love skiing and that’s in the cold. But apparently I don’t like the cold so much when it is off the mountains haha! Don’t worry, I actually do love Canada lots I was just angry at that the weather was stopping me from getting my perfect shot. 😛

Once I realized it was basically like the North Pole outside, I decided it would be better to shoot this look inside. Not the original style of photo I wanted for you guys today, but I don’t have hypothermia so that’s a plus. (Only a problem Canadian bloggers will understand haha.)

This dress is a new find from Free People. The material is soooo cozy, it’s a great dress for winter. One of my favourite parts of the dress are the cutouts on the arms and waist. They add such a nice shape to the dress, which tends to emphasize them curves. (Yes, them curves. Lol.)

My shoes are from Nine West, and are also so comfy (especially for heels!) I am totally into the pointed toe look these days. There will be quite a few more shoes like this coming your way soon! Check out this post where I also wore these shoes. 

And finally, my beauuuutiful pearls. These bad boys are from Birks. They make me feel like a freaking rockstar. Why? Whooooo knows. Just something about them. Do you ever have that? When something you own just makes you feel outrageously fab for no good reason? It’s kind of the best! Haha 🙂

Helloooo everybody! Would you LOOK at this beautiful coat?! I am obsessed with it right now (well, not literally obsessed but you get the picture lol.) It is made by SOIA & KYO and oh boy did they ever do good. It fits like a freaking glove! And there is still room to add more layers underneath, which is a total necessity when things get chilly here in Vancouver. Love love love it. 

Today was an all-leather kind of day. I went the whole 9 yards and paired my leather pants with leather boots. My life is CRAZY, I’m aware, thank you. 😉 The pants are from a local Vancouver store I love called Aritzia, and my gorg ankle boots are by Michael Kors.

Today I wore head-to-toe Urban Outfitters. Why? Black Friday made me do it. I swear! I definitely have some sort of problem, because when there are sales, I convince myself that by spending a bunch of money I am somehow actually “saving my money.” I know it’s a trap, I know I’m not ACTUALLY saving money… but I cave every time. Give this girl a good sale and I will be on it like a fruit fly on fruit. I kid you not. I can’t stop myself! Haha oh well… If impulsively buying pretty new clothes for a low price is my only vice, I’ll take it! I’d say that still sounds like winning to me. 😉

Anyways, back to this gorg outfit. I am in loveee with this outfit because I feel like it’s totally a classic “Robyn” look! Anything that is long and flowy is right up my alley. I always feel so elegant and glam when I wear outfits like this, which is probably why this is one of my go-to looks.

In the winter time I am totally guilty of wearing all black, all the time. It might also be a Vancouver thing because I feel like everyone here just wears black all winter long! I have been trying to switch it up lately and wear a bit more colour, but today I went back to my usual all-black ensemble and was loving it haha.

So it was the windiest day EVER when we shot these photos. For real. I was trying to be like Beyonce (in all her glorious fabulousness) with her constant wind fan, but my attempts were futile at best. I have got to hand it to the woman… HOW DOES SHE CONTROL HER HAIR with all that wind!! It was basically impossible, so I went for the “I’m going really fast on a boat” look with my hair. Not that I had a choice LOL.

Moving right along… Lets start with the shoes. Because they are beauuutifulll and I love them. Michael Kors made these bad boys, and I can’t get enough of their asymmetrical shape. So gorgeous.

My skirt (which is actually a dress, sneaky sneaky) is from Club Monaco. The dress’ neoprene material is super cool because it makes it hold a really nice shape. The sweater is from American Apparel and it is definitely a staple piece for me in the winter. Throw a nice big sweater on top of any outfit and I am one happy camper!

The other night we snapped these photos just before heading out for dinner. It gets dark so early now… it’s crazy! I can’t wait until the days start getting longer again, is it bad to say that already? Haha 😛

I love mixing different fabrics together in a simple outfit. It makes the look way more exciting! Here I am wearing my Aritzia furry coat, on top of an American Apparel crew neck sweater. Such a cozy sweater and coat combo for winter! I was nice and warm in these babies. My pants are my Citizen “Rocket” jeans, which I mentioned before because they are so comfy that I just can’t stop wearing them! So what if I wear the same pair of jeans an abnormal number of days in a row… I’m wild like that. 😉 The little sneakers I am wearing are by Cole Haans. I really love this look because it is casual, yet fab at the same time because of the furry coat. Perfect for me!

Anyways, this weekend has been so nice and chill! I mostly stayed home and cozied up, with the exception of going out on Friday night. When the weather gets chilly like it is now, I am always so tempted to just stay inside and keep warm! How has your weekend been? Hopefully it has been a fun!
