HORSEBACK RIDING BRITISH COLUMBIA

Travel

Today’s British Columbia travel vlog shares horseback riding in the Cariboo! I visited Spruce Hills Ranch and went riding for the first time in… I want to say over 10 years? Maybe more? Who knows, but the important thing is it was a day for the books.

There is something so magical about riding horses through the nature. Can’t even describe it, but it was exhilarating. If you ever have the chance to go horseback riding in these weird times, really recommend you do so. Especially in beautiful British Columbia!

If you want to see more of my solo Canadian travels, make sure to check out my first Cariboo travel vlog as well as my second! Even though the COVID-19 pandemic has squashed my SE Asia plans for this year, I have really been enjoying filming here at home in British Columbia. It wasn’t what I though I would be doing this year, but I am very happy to be here and exploring/sharing my home country. Hope you are enjoying the videos as much as I am!

Sending you love and light, stay safe my friends.

BRITISH COLUMBIA CABIN LIFE

Travel

Welcome back to beautiful British Columbia! Today’s Canadian travel vlog features a cabin in the Cariboo which is a region in interior British Columbia. This place is heaven on earth, for real. There’s nothing that makes me happier than being in the nature. And baby.. this is IT!

If you have never traveled to Canada, I highly recommend. That being said I am very biased, as this is my home country, but it is one of the most BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. Again.. I’m biased but check out today’s Canadian travel vlog to see the validity of my statement lol.

Today’s vlog is also the very first time I’ve made a video with my NEW CAMERA! I’m now shooting on the Sony A6400, and this was very much a test video. Still don’t 100% know how to use it but I am trying my best haha. What do you think of the new equipment? Do you like this or the old camera better??

WELCOME TO CANADA

Travel

Well, this is it. I am officially BACK TO UPDATING THIS VLOG. It has been…. almost a year? I’m ashamed. There are no words. Other than I’M BACK BABY!!

To celebrate my first blog post back, I wanted to share a video I am more proud of than anything I have uploaded lately. This Canada travel vlog makes me so patriotic it’s ridiculous. I haven’t filmed anything in my home country of Canada in forever so it feels great to be back rocking up North.

COVID-19 has totally evaporated my international travel plans for the year, so you are going to be seeing a lot of North America vlogs for now! Hope you are excited, I know I am. ๐Ÿ™‚

COLORADO CAMPING TRIP

Travel

It has been FOREVER since I last went camping, and I broke my camper dry spell in the best way possible.

My friend Tracy and I drove from Los Angeles to Colorado to go on an epic camping adventure. The first night we slept in Grand Junction.ย And by “slept in Grand Junction” I mean slept in our car on some BLM land. BLM land is basically land where you can legally camp for free. Watch the vlog above to find out more about how that all went down.

For the next part of our camping adventure, Tracy and I camped in a free camping area near Bryce Canyon National Park. This was one of the most gorgeous places I’d ever seen and really wish we had more time to spend there!

How are those rocks real?! Bryce Canyon was totally wild.

More big rocks.

Big rocks with some flowers lol. Thank you Tracy for sending me these photos!

Hope you enjoyed today’s vlogs!

TOP 5 BEACHES IN BALI

Travel

Top 5 beaches in Bali!!! After spending 2.5 months solo-traveling through Bali, it is about time I share my top experiences. Starting with the most important, BEACHES.

Bali isn’t exactly famous for white sand beaches like Thailand or the Philippines is. But that doesn’t mean it lacks INCREDIBLE beaches of its own.

Today’s Bali travel vlog shares why I think Nunggalan Beach, Sundays Beach Club, Green Bowl Beach, Gunung Payung Beach, and Padang Padang Beach are the best beaches to visit in Bali.

Really hope you enjoy this video, I have more “best of Bali” vlogs coming soon!

Sorry for the radio-silence, going to get my sh*t together and post regularly here again ๐Ÿ™‚

NUSA LEMBONGAN AND NUSA CENINGAN TRAVEL GUIDE

Travel

What an incredible day! This was my first day exploring Nusa Lembongan, Indonesia and I was pleasantly surprised. Originally, I had booked a few days on Nusa Lembongan to chill out and edit. No exploring planned.

My friend and I decided we might as well see what Nusa Lembongan had to offer and ended up having an incredible day!

First stop was a restaurant called Nano Nano that had a beautiful mangrove right in front of it! The plan was to have lunch, do a mangrove tour, and finish with some snorkeling. That didn’t exactly happen when we arrived and saw the tide was out and there was no water in the mangrove! hahaha rookie mistake. Oops. So make sure you check the tides on Nusa Lembongan if you plan on visiting the mangroves. The mangrove tour did look pretty epic if I say so myself. Next time ๐Ÿ˜‰

While having lunch we made a new friend who told us about a secret cliff jumping spot on the adjacent island called Nusa Ceningan! Naturally, we had to check it out. The cliff jumping area featured in my vlog is called Blue Lagoon. I had planned on jumping but once we got there and saw the tides there was no way in hell I was getting in that water haha. If you are planning on going cliff jumping at Blue Lagoon, it’s best at low tide AND you must be a VERY strong swimmer. Our friend who jumped almost didn’t make it out of the water. Scary stuff.

Overall I was pleasantly surprised at how incredible Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan were. The islands were a great escape to the high-season Bali crowds.

Hope you enjoyed today’s travel vlog and learned what to do when visiting Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan!

THE VICEROY, BALI

Travel

Welcome to The Viceroy in Ubud, Bali!

For this Ubud travel vlog series I’ve partnered up with The Viceroy Bali to share their boutique luxury hotel nestled in a jungle paradise.

I’ve been to Ubud a few times before, but this was my first visit where I ever felt like I was getting the true “Ubud” experience.

The moment we stepped into our suite, my jaw hit the floor. Our room was incredible! It was decked out with a private pool, gazebo, living room, and massive California king size bed. Watch the first Viceroy vlog linked above to see what I mean.

We spent our entire first day just hanging out in our private villa/suite enjoying the jungle views and lots of room service. The Viceroy Bali made a damn good Nasi Goreng, but you couldn’t really go wrong with anything on their room service menu. Highly highly recommend.

I can truly say this was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had, and the Viceroy Bali is absolutely stunning. If you are looking for a luxury Ubud experience, this is the place to be. Also major honeymoon vibes!

Hope you enjoyed this glimpse into the Viceroy Ubud, and see you soon.

SUSTAINABLITY

Lifestyle

This is 100% my favourite video I’ve made yet. Not because it’s the most entertaining, because I am finally talking about something close to my heart – protecting our planet.

Admittedly, sustainability has been a passion of mine only for about a year or so. Everyone knows you’re supposed to use less plastic, recycle, etc. But I don’t think you can truly understand the effect global warming and excess plastic consumption has on our earth until you see it firsthand.

About a year ago my boyfriend and I spent a month in Tulum, Mexico. When booking our trip, we were expecting a tropical paradise with crystal clear water and lush jungle. Sounded like a dream. Upon arrival, we saw a jungle filled with garbage and dark red water (that literally looked liked blood) teaming with seaweed, bugs, and trash. Not once in our entire month in Tulum did we swim in the ocean.ย

This. Woke. Me. The. Fuck. Up.

I honestly can say I was a pretty wasteful person up until this trip to Tulum. Seeing a beautiful paradise destroyed because of my own laziness and wasteful habits was my breaking point.

Enough was enough.

After this trip Troy and I made big changes to move our lives to becoming more zero-waste. I will be talking about this more but thought I’d start with a few simple tips on how you can be less wasteful and keep tropical paradise… well, paradise.

Today’s vlog on simple sustainability tips shares what I saw in Bali (hint: it’s not clean beaches…) and how you can help prevent more beautiful beaches from being destroyed!

Hope you like this video on simple sustainability tips and make sure to leave it a thumbs up.
