Welcome to Lombok!! This trip was one of the most memorable I’ve ever had and definitely need to go back and explore more of Lombok.
Lombok is an island near Bali, about a 20 minute flight to be exact. I wanted to come visit Lombok to escape the crowds of Bali for a bit. July is busy season in Bali and it is veryyyyy different from March here. When I visited Bali in March it was wonderful. Now, it’s honestly a bit crowded for my taste!
Wow I have just been the absolute worst at updating my blog with my vlogs lately! (lol blog with my vlogs..)
Anywho, if you mostly read here and don’t keep up on YouTube here are my first set of Bali vlogs! The trip has been absolutely incredible so far and I can’t say enough good things about Indonesia :
48 hours in Hong Kong is complete! And all I did was eat dumplings. Lots and lots of dumplings.
Fun little fact I actually used to work in Shanghai. While I was there, I developed a deep love for dumplings. The “Chinese food” we have available in North America is nothing in comparison to the real thing, the QUALITY dim sum in Shanghai/Hong Kong.
Hello friends! Today’s vlog is all about what to pack for Bali. I am about to depart for another 1 month trip to Bali and figured I would share, IN DETAIL, what to pack for Bali. Realistically I probably way overshared on this one but I felt it necessary hahah.
Only in town for about a week and a half but trying to fit in as much as possible.
Quick little vlog today but I hope you like it! My schedule has been all over the place lately and I am **hoping** next week things get back to normal. 🙂
Today’s vlog is from Connecticut and NYC! This was my first time ever visiting Connecticut and it was SO beautiful. Honestly had no idea the East Coast had any beaches like that – very very pretty.
This is the first time in a VERY long time I’ve taken a little staycation! Troy and I decided to wrap up our trip to Montreal by staying at Hotel Le Crystal in downtown Montreal.
We were able to stay in the Executive Suite and it was SO beautiful! Legit all we did was lay around and eat room service and drink champagne. It was PERFECT. My version of a vacation is literally doing nothing hahah. Exploring and seeing things is travel to me, not vacation. Vacation is a very special category where I just want to be fed good food and drinks and have no other purpose to my existence except to eat said food and drinks. Also possibly have a very long bath. That is up there too.
Actually quite sad to be leaving Montreal after two months now that the weather has gotten so nice. The city really came to life when the weather started warming up. Every night everyone would be hanging out in parks having wine and picnics, going to festivals, enjoying outdoor patios, etc. Super cool vibe and I really would love to come back in the summer again!
Anywho, that’s all for today! Hope you enjoyed this Montreal Staycation and feel free to leave a comment here or on YouTube saying hi 🙂
Hello again from another Montreal day! This was SO much more fun than I thought it was going to be.
Troy and I booked ourselves for an afternoon of “traditional Canadian Axe throwing” and it was such a riot! (Wow do I sound like a 90 year old woman or what? RIOT?)
What a weekend!! Sorry for the late post today, but we were so busy all weekend I had to upload Monday morning this week instead of the usual Sunday night.
This weekend Troy and I drove from NYC to upstate New York with a bunch of friends. On Saturday our group split up to do different activities. We decided to visit West Point Military Academy so Troy could show me where he went to school!
As a Canadian, the world of US military is very foreign to me and I pretty much have zero grasp on the industry as a whole. It was very interesting to see what it’s like to go to a military university/college, so so SOOOOO different from my uni experience lol.
Anyways, find out what happened at West Point in today’s vlog!
